Welcome to First Kids!
First Kids Elementary Ministry can’t wait to meet you! We have an awesome group of kids that meet each week and learn how to Lift Up Jesus, Build Up Believers, and Reach Out to Others, in an environment that suits each grade level. We provide high energy worship, engaging Bible study, and awesome opportunities to serve and have fun together as we grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ and His amazing love! First Kids offers specific programs for 1-3 graders and a Preteen Ministry for 4-5 graders. We would love for you to come and visit our exciting ministry!
SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE
Grades 1-3:
• 9:30 am - Connection Groups
• 11:00 am - Large Group Worship in the Outlet
Grades 4 and 5:
• 9:30 am – Preteen Worship in the Outlet
• 11:00 am - Connection Groups
Wednesdays
Grades 1-5 meets each Wednesday at 6:30 pm for BLAST (Building Lives Around Sound Truths)
We have an exciting Wednesday planned for kids at FBP! We meet in the Outlet for praise, worship, and bible study. After our time in the Outlet kids participate in the BLAST track of their choice. Kids will have the opportunity to pre-register for a track, but don't worry if you don't pre-register kids can choose a track when they arrive. New tracks are offered every 4-6 weeks. Come join us, it's going to be...a BLAST!
Parents Information
The First Kids Children's Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to provide children a place to grow their faith in Jesus Christ and learn more about His perfect plan for their lives through our mission goals:
• Lift Up Jesus
• Build Up Believers
• Reach Out to Others
When your child is in our ministry, we will teach these basic concepts through God's Word. We have approximately 40 hours a year to share this message with your child. You, as parents, however, have over 3000 hours a year. We want to partner with you to help your child learn these core principles. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We are here to help you be the best parent you can be as we work together to build your child into a spiritual champion.
First Visit To First Kids
Where do I park if I have children?
We suggest you park in the South Parking Lot. Enter through the Main South Entrance and look for the large red wall.
Where is the Elementary Ministry Located?
Once in the Commons, look for the large red wall and take the stairs to the second floor. The First Kids Elementary Ministry is at the top of the stairs.
How do I know which class my child should go to?
Please stop by the Elementary Welcome Center and one of our volunteers will assist you in filling out a visitor slip with pertinent information about your child. The volunteer will walk you and your child to the correct class.
How do children check-in?
We use a computerized check-in system so that children may check in and get a name tag each time they are on campus. A Teacher Receipt label will also be printed for each child. This receipt is given to the teacher as the child arrives in the classroom. Parents of children, 3rd grade and younger, will also receive a Parent Pick-Up Receipt. This receipt should be presented to the teacher by the parent or authorized adult at pick up.
Once I drop off my child, where do I go?
On Sundays, we offer Adult Connection Groups at 8:30, 9:30 and 11AM. Blended Worship is offered each Sunday at 9:30AM and Contemporary Worship takes places at 11AM.
On Wednesdays, while kids are having a BLAST, adults may attend one of our Adult activities that start at 6:30PM.
